You can use the First Serve Interest Form to sign up for an obligation-free opportunity to try out serving in any ministry area of your choosing. A Team leader will contact you to set up you First Serve.
Creative Teams
All of our Creative Teams are dedicated to drawing people into the conversation.
Photography & Videography Team
Our team uses our love for photography and film to capture visually engaging images and videos of our services and events for use in social media and our website. If you have a camera and an interest in photography or videography, you’d be a great fit for our team.
Social Media Team
Our team uses social media platforms to creatively and effectively engage our followers in the life of Liberty Church NYC. If you are adept in the social media nuances of communication, you’d make a big difference on our team.
Discipleship Teams
All of our Discipleship Teams are dedicated to helping people move forward in their spiritual journey.
Care Team
Community Group Leadership
Our team ministers to those who are experiencing life-challenges through personal expressions of love and concern. We also respond to direct requests for care needs through benevolence, pre-marital guidance, and counseling referrals. If you are compassionate and thoughtful, you’d make a huge impact with our team.
Our team of leaders facilitate seasonal Community Group opportunities for our church community. We are dedicated to help people build relationships with one another and grow in their faith. If you like to gather people and help others to connect and grow, you’d make a great Community Group leader. The on-ramp to Community Group leadership includes an interview, training, and (depending on the Group type) a background check.
Prayer Team
Our team gathers to pray before our services, provides one-on-one prayer for all of our guests after service, and intercedes for the community, leadership, and mission of Liberty Church throughout the week. If you are compassionate person who knows the power of prayer, you’d make a great addition to our team.
Guest Experience Teams
All of our Guest Experience Teams are dedicated to creating Sundays that feel great for all of our guests.
Hospitality Team
Our team brings a personal touch to our Sunday experiences by providing drinks and snacks in the lobby and oversees occasional special moments, like Guest-Speaker hospitality, 'big Sunday’ receptions and give-aways. If you love to make people feel special, you’d be great for our team.
Logistics Team
Our team works behind the scenes to create a spirit of excellence in our venue. We put out signage and set up the adult and kids rooms before service and pack it all away after service. If you enjoy hands-on work and known the value of first-impressions, you’d be great for our team.
Hosts Team
Aka, Greeters and Ushers, our team welcomes people to Liberty Church at the front doors and lobby, assists people to their seats, distributes materials and communion elements, and helps maintain a distraction-free service environment. If you are friendly and attentive to details, you’d be a great Host.
Service Directors
Our team makes sure everything runs smoothly on Sundays by serving as the point-person for our Pastors & Team leaders. We are responsible for head count, offering collection, and completing a weekly service report. If you are a friendly, detail-oriented person who likes oversee the big picture, you’d make a great Service Director.

Liberty Kids
Liberty Students
Our team invests in the lives of children, ages 0-12 years, through worship, prayer, Biblical teaching, hands-on activities, small groups, and games. If you love kids and want to be part of providing a safe and fun environment for them to experience the love of Jesus, you’d be a great fit for Liberty Kids. Our team helps students in middle-school and high-school to connect to God and other teens through times of worship, small groups, retreats, and serving others. If you have a desire to see teens grow in their faith, you’d make a big impact on our team. The on-ramp to our team includes an interview and a background check.

All of our Next Steps Teams are dedicated to helping people move from interested to invested.
Guest Follow Up Team
Growth Track Hosts
Our team is committed to helping first time guests feel seen, welcomed, and invited to come back again. We use emails and texts to respond to guest preregistrations and Connect/Next Steps cards as well as provide a friendly and engaging presence at the next steps table. If you know the challenges of visiting a church for the first time and want to make that easier for others, you’d be a great fit for our team.
Our team helps people take their Next Steps by hosting our Growth Track events. We greet our guests, provide snacks and materials, introduce our Pastor videos, help with online forms, and facilitate a time for questions. If you love Liberty Church and want to help others take their next step with our community, you’d make a difference on our team.

Local Outreach
Kingdom-Builders
Our team organizes and facilitates local outreach events for our church community by establishing local partnerships with City-based missions and missional-organizations and coordinating with the Community Pastor to schedule church-wide events. If you have a heart to reach our neighbors with compassionate expressions of the Gospel, this is the team for you.
Visionaries
Our team works to equip, encourage and enable people to achieve their God-given dreams. We host in-person and online events which provide people with the opportunity to hear from thought leaders about how to utilize their skills and talents to make a positive impact in their business and the community. If you have a heart to help people put their dreams into action, you’d be a great addition to our team.
Our team uses our spiritual gift of giving to support major projects and facilitate the overall vision of our Church through strategic financial offerings. If you have the spiritual gift of giving or you like to make a difference through the tool of your finances, this is a great fit for you.

Audio / Visual Team
Livestream
Our team facilitates a powerful worship experience through audio engineering, running presentation software, and lighting. If you are adept with technology and skilled (or interested) in one or more of those areas, you’d be a great fit for our team.
Worship Team
Our team seeks to lead our congregation in a powerful worship experience. If you are a skilled musician or vocalist and love to use your gifts to worship God, you’d be a great addition to our team. The on-ramp to the worship team includes an audition process.
Our team ‘gets the Word out’ by setting up and monitoring the live broadcast of our Sunday services. We are responsible for running our cameras and Resi livestream-software. If you are production-minded and adept with technology, you’d be a great fit for our team.
